Q: What is your service area, geographically?
A: We specialize in local communities; however, we service clients throughout the United States.
Q: If there is a power outage, what safeguards do you have in place?
A: We have an emergency backup system to maintain power and protect all critical components.
Q: I need to stay within a budget and don't need every call answered live, but I do need emergency calls received by a live person. What are my options?
A: At CMS we can design your account to work for you. We offer a voice mail attendant option to screen out those calls that you don't need answered by a live person while accurately attending to those that do.
Q: When needed, can I request to have a certain call or message played back for me?
A: Our Voice Logger system records all calls, allowing us to accomplish this request if necessary.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Experience our excellent customer service first hand by calling 1-800-868-2080 and asking to speak with one of experienced sales representatives any time.
Q: How do my calls get to you?
A: In order for CMS to answer an existing business or redsidential phone line, the customer must forward their phone to the answering service. You will simply utilize “call-forwarding.” Call forwarding is a feature provided by your telephone service provider. If you do not have a business number, you can use one of CMS' numbers. The number can be used on your business cards, advertising efforts, etc.
Q: Is there a contract involved?
A: We do ask that all clients read and sign our service agreement; it is a month-to-month agreement.
Q: How long does it take to have an account activated and start service?
A: In most cases, a new account can be started 24 hours after account information has been entered and payment has been received. Complex accounts may take longer.
